...The Flood Warning has been extended for the following rivers in
Massachusetts...
Sudbury River At Saxonville affecting Middlesex County
Charles River At Dover affecting Middlesex and Norfolk Counties
The Flood Warning continues for
The Charles River At Dover.
* until Wednesday afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:45 AM Tuesday the stage was 5.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 5.1 feet by this
evening. The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
* Impact...At 5.0 feet...People living along the Charles River should
prepare for flooding of low lying areas along the river.
Susceptible locations include low lying areas along Fisher Street
in Needham and a small area on the South Natick and Wellesley line
along River Street.

* until Thursday evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:15 AM Tuesday the stage was 10.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 10.3 feet by this
evening. The river will fall below flood stage Thursday early
afternoon.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Flooding will affect low lying areas along
the river in Wayland, including a portion of Shore Road and Pelham
Island Road near Heards Pond.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EST THIS
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Periods of snow with accumulations ranging from 1 to 2
inches in the lower elevations with 2 to 5 inches in the higher
terrain.
* WHERE...The east slopes of the Berkshires as well as interior
northern Massachusetts.
* WHEN...Until 5 PM EST this afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions
especially in the higher terrain. The hazardous conditions
could impact the morning or evening commute.
