Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
332 AM EDT Sat Oct 19 2019

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure across the region today will slowly push tonight.
The remnants of tropical storm Nestor may bring an area of rain
across the region from midday Sunday through the afternoon.

Minimum relative humidity values will range from 40 to 60 percent
today, then from 55 to 65 percent on Sunday.

Outlook for Sunday night through Friday...

Light rain from the remnants of Nestor will linger Sunday evening
then will push offshore while the remnant low lingers well south
of Cape Cod Monday. A strong low will cross the Great Lakes, with
its associated cold front pushing east Tuesday. Scattered showers
will push onshore during Tuesday as low pressure lingers close to
or south of the region, then the front will bring more showers
along with gusty winds Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Dry
conditions will move in late Wednesday as high pressure
approaches, then will remain across the region into Friday.
