* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below expected.

* WHERE...Portions of eastern, northeastern, and southeastern Massachusetts and northern and southern Rhode Island.

* WHEN...From 6 PM Saturday to 1 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

* INSTRUCTIONS...Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.

- Widespread 2-4 inches of snow likely later tonight through Sat,
  with localized bands of heavier snow across northeast MA, possibly
  up to 8 inches in Essex county, including Cape Ann. Less snow
  westward into CT and western MA. Ocean effect snow showers over
  Cape Cod Sat night.

- Dangerous cold Saturday night into Sunday, gusty winds will
  lend to wind chills 10-30 degrees below zero. In addition,
  freezing spray becomes hazardous for the mariners.
