WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM EST MONDAY

Winter Weather Advisory issued December 28 at 12:00PM EST until December 29 at 6:00AM EST by NWS Boston/Norton MA

* WHAT...Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations up to two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, central, eastern, northeastern, and western Massachusetts, and northern Rhode Island.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 6 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute across northern Massachusetts.

* INSTRUCTIONS...Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible power outages.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
